Petroleum Rx is the leading third party provider for jobbers seeking support and enhancements for the PDS accounting package.  Most of our clients bought the PDS system in the 1980’s and 1990’s and while they possessed a powerful product, there was an unfilled demand for ongoing development and service after the millennium.  Petroleum Rx was formed around former PDS programmers and service people in 2004 to fill this need.

By 2009, most of the larger PDS-running jobbers were getting their support from Petroleum Rx.  For jobbers looking to buy an accounting package, the PDS product is one possibility.  A look at our client list will show the type of company for which PDS has been a good fit, sometimes for over 20 years.

Petroleum Rx also sells and installs the Petrolac accounting package, from Summit Software, to jobbers in the Western US.  Summit is our preferred “new system” package; it’s technically more current that is PDS, and is somewhat simpler to learn and use.  In addition, it can fully integrate C-Stores, making it a total solution for any jobber running stores, cardlock, lubes and fuel.
