Now that RxDocs has been running in the field awhile, we are sitting on several enhancements
that take the module beyond what we first bulletined. These changes are now part of the
standard install. These changes are all about distribution.  When RxDocs was rolled out, some thought it was
mostly about getting rid of the order queues.  We did this to gain direct control of printing order
and invoices. With the passage of time, the queues are missed only in that we have fewer trouble
calls coming in. We hope that order queues and order spoolers will just fade from memory and
that RxDocs will be seen as a platform to facilitate the distribution of correspondence with your
customers.

RxDocs features:
  • Eliminate Order Entry Queues: just select a printer number when you're done in Order Entry
  • Fax, Email, View a PDF on your screen, and go to Line Printers and Laser printers in a standard way
  • Store text and PDF files in the document archive
  • Remove all invoice spoolers -- get 5 or more UniBasic licenses back
  • Store a log of all document distributions for easy auditing
  • Tighter integration of Vsifax jobs, including send status and email on error
  • Descriptive printer configuration database
