How can I access my server and PDS program from home or on the road?

Remote access can be done various ways.  Typically access is done via VPN (Virtural Private Network) connection.  When a VPN connection is established your PC, where ever it is (home, hotel, etc) is merged in as part of the office network in everyway.  You will be able to use all printers, file shares, etc.

The speed of your internet connection is very important.  DSL, Cable are the best connections, although dialup will work but slowly.

Once your VPN connection is up your telnet program (ICE.TCP, or similar) will work as it did before.
